Q: When having my furniture cleaned, how long does it take to dry?
A: Our low moisture upholstery cleaning tool provides short drying
times of usually 2-3 hours depending on overall soiling, fabric composition and design. Fibres made from natural sources take the
longest to dry as they are more absorbent these include cotton, rayon and wool.
Q: Do you clean my furniture at my residence
or does it have to be taken out and cleaned off site?
A: In most cases we can obtain excellent results cleaning your furniture in your
home, most of our clients find this to be the most convienient option. Furniture can also be dropped off and picked up at our office
if you desire or we can come pick items up and return them after cleaning. Please note there is an extra pick up and delivery
fee for this service. Certain items we will recommend to clean them at our shop if the fabric has high natural fibre content
(rayon, cotton, wool) as these fibres can be more challenging to clean and dry properly.
Q: How can I tell what my furniture fabric
is made from?
A: It is a Canadian Federal Government requirement for all furniture produced or imported into Canada for sale to have
tags stating fibre content. These tags are usually attatched underneath the bottom cushions if the cushions are removable. Otherwise
tags may be attatched on the underside of the furniture, one of the tags usually have a breakdown of what fibres are present expressed
in a precentage (Eg: 45%Polyester, 55%Nylon). If your furniture was purchased outside Canada it may not have tags as many other countries
do not have any fiber composition tag requirements.
Q: My furniture looks like it is suede, can this be cleaned?
A: Real
suede furniture is rare and very expensive, if you have furniture that looks like suede it is most likely microfiber. Microfiber
is usually made from polyester and will clean well, but can be challenging for the homeowner to clean. Visit our upholstery cleaning pictures on Facebook to see some extremely soiled microfiber and how well we can clean it!
